Rooftop Sky Deck will be closed until further notice.
Located 270 meters above sea level on the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower rooftop, our open-air Sky Deck is a very special place that lets you feel the breeze from the spacious skies. This is a venue for our visitors to marvel at the stars while still in the center of the Tokyo metropolis.
The Sky Deck is adorned with illumination that is patterned after the closest astronomical body to our Earth, the moon. After the sun sets, the illumination changes according to the moon’s cycle.
The main lighting patterns visitors can see are the moonlight versions: “New Moon” and “Full Moon.” We are also planning to add some seasonal lighting patterns where the illumination changes with the seasons.
With its proximity to the skies, the Sky Deck is the best spot in the metropolis for an unimpeded view of the nighttime stars. Taking advantage of this view, the Roppongi Tenmon (Astronomy) Club regularly holds sky watching events and gatherings focused on astronomy in line with the seasons. Come visit the Sky Deck to enjoy the city nightscape along with the stars that unfold before your eyes.
The Roppongi Tenmon Club hosts various astronomy-related events including night sky watching events, astronomy seminars and workshops, and more.
Come join us at The Sky Deck as we enjoy the spectacle of the city lights and glistening stars.
