Watch the closest approach of Mars! Stargazing event to be held for eight days!
Conducted in Japanese
We will be holding an event for eight straight days from July 27 to August 3, for visitors to observe Mars during its closer approach to Earth for the first time in 15 years.
Visitors can hear explanations from astronomy experts while using the telescope to view the planet. What is more, the planets Venus, Jupiter and Mars will all be visible together in the same sky during the first part of August - a rare occurrence.
Come to the Sky Deck and enjoy this rare opportunity to see Mars in close proximity from 270 meters above sea level, amidst a field of stars with nothing to block your view.
