Under the clear winter skies, we will be holding a special event called TENKUU NO ARUKIKATA in TOKYO CITY VIEW, where the spectacular panorama of Tokyo meets the world’s sky cities. This event will take you on a tour of these celestial cities.
Along with the breathtaking views from Tokyo City View, we will also introduce spectacular views of extraordinary sky cities around the world, including Machu Picchu. Enjoy a special moment as you contemplate the sky, the earth, and distant civilizations.
This event, with its themes of Breathtaking Views of the World, Cities in the Sky, and Starry Skies of the Southern Hemisphere, will feature a Walk in the Sky Gallery by Chikyu no Arukikata, publisher of Globe Trotter Travel Guidebooks.
In addition, we have prepared an astronomy exhibition in collaboration with Roppongi Tenmon Club that unravels the Inca view of the universe. Enjoy views from an completely new perspective, accompanied by stories of starry skies completely different from those in the Northern Hemisphere.
Also available is Machu Picchu VR, where you can experience Machu Picchu, the ancient Inca Empire’s mysterious sky city, using the latest VR technology. Experience the grandeur and mystery of the ruins with a sense of realism that makes you feel as if you’ve actually landed on the at the actual site. This content is a add-on project to the CREVIA MACHU PICCHU AND THE GOLDEN EMPIRES OF PERU, which is also being held at the Mori Arts Center Gallery during the same period.
In addition, TOKYO CITY VIEW x MONOWIT will be open, a space where you can relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The space will be gracefully decorated with SPACETIME, a mobile by creative lab MONOWIT that depicts the universe.
