Special Jusanya Moon Viewing Event on Monday, October 18, 2021
Conducted online in Japanese
The moon of the thirteenth night of the subsequent month after the harvest moon is called Jusanya. Known as a little less of “full” moon, it has been beloved by so many since the ancient times.
Join us in enjoying the Jusanya in the Tokyo nightscape this season!
This time, we have decided to organize the moon viewing online in consideration of the COVID-19 crisis and the current situation surrounding it.
Using Zoom (video conferencing), the evening’s sky would be broadcast while our astronomy experts would be providing commentary.
As a trial, this online event is to be live-streamed for free this time around.
